Wisconsin's Guide to Social Emotional Learning & Workforce Readiness

Through Career & Technical Education (CTE) courses, students require academic knowledge, technical expertise, and employability skills to be career and college-ready.

Employability skills are general skills that are essential in all labor markets and careers. Often referred to as "soft skills," these skills are taught through education and workforce development in three categories: applied knowledge, effective relationships, and workplace skills.
